Two monsters brawl on tonight’s RAW Underground

“Pick on someone your own size…” a notion the Monster Among Men may have never thought possible, until Dabba-Kato stepped into the the squared circle.

With Braun Strowman being 6 feet 8 inches in height and weighing in at 385 lbs, while Dabba-Kato measures at 6 feet 9inches and weighing 350lbs, most would agree they are both “Monsters”. Fans have waited a full week following the announcement that a behemothic showdown between Braun Strowman and the undefeated Dabba-Kato is set for RAW Underground on tonight’s 9/21 WWE Monday Night RAW: Clash of Champions Go-Home Edition episode.

After last Monday’s rampage through Raw Underground, demolishing anyone and everyone that stepped in his path, Braun Strowman seemed more than ready to take on anyone the WWE threw at him. Things got interesting during last week’s RAW Underground when the monstrous, undefeated Dabba-Kato stepped to The Monster. It looked like a Monster Brawl was to follow, but before they could come to blows, Shane McMahon stepped between the two titans. McMahon chose to save the monstrosity for the 9/21 edition of RAW Underground.

Dabba Kato took to Twitter to send a message to Strowman about his belief as to whether he could defeat The “Monster Among Men”:

The very next day, Strowman tweeted this response:

They’ve Been In The Ring Together Before

Why does it feel we have seen Dabba-Kato and Braun Strowman in the ring together before? That’s because back in 2018 at the WWE Greatest Royal Rumble pay-per-view event held in Saudi Arabia. What’s more, Dabba-Kato was eliminated from the match by none other than Braun Strowman!

Braun Strowman was the 41st entrant in the Royal Rumble, while Dabba-Kato (Babatunde) was the 37th entrant. Kato didn’t eliminate a single member of the rumble while Strowman went on to eliminate 13 men, (which led him to break the record of 12, set by Roman Reigns at the 2014 Royal Rumble.) and ultimately WON the entire WWE Greatest Royal Rumble championship trophy and championship.

Perhaps Dabba-Kato is back to prove something to himself, to Strowman, and to the WWE Universe in general.

Be sure to return to Wrestling-Edge starting tonight at 8/7C for live results coverage as WWE Monday Night RAW airs live on the USA Network.
