Tyson Fury is the WBC World Heavyweight Champion and he competed against Deontay Wilder on October 9th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tyson Fury was also possibly caught cheating using gloves.
After a very long back and forth boxing match that featured Deontay Wilder knocking Tyson Fury down twice during the fourth round, it was Tyson Fury who won the boxing match after he defeated Deontay Wilder in the 11th round. He then retired recently as well.
Fury said on BT Sport’s Chatterbox: “I’m like an old banger, Ford Escort with 250,000 miles on the clock.
“And every part of me is absolutely battered to pieces. Joints, elbows, knees, back, I’ve got some severe mileage on the clock.
Imagine being a heavyweight being punched to pieces for years and years and years and keep going and keep going and keep going day in and day out and just keep taking the pain.
“It’s like Rocky said, ‘It’s not how much pain you can give out but it’s about how much you can take and keep moving forward.’
I think he was a better fighter when I last boxed him. Last time I fought him he was better, he was good, he was on point.”
