Deontay Wilder was set to face off against Britain’s WBC champion Tyson Fury for the WBC World Heavyweight Championship in Las Vegas on July 24. Ahead of their boxing match, they had a press conference where they could not stop staring at each other. However, that was cancelled after Tyson Fury tested positive for COVID-19. Tyson Fury also leaked bad news related to Wilder’s health previously.
The miracle of parenthood is certainly one of the best things a person could ever experience, but it seems Tyson Fury is not having the best of times with respect to being a parent. Tyson Fury revealed that his newborn daughter is sadly back in intensive care and took to social media and asked once again for prayers for his baby girl.
Athena Fury was born last Sunday and needed to be placed in the ICU on a ventilator a short time later. Tyson and his wife, Paris stated that their daughter was doing well and it was then said that the baby was off the ventilator and making ‘fantastic’ progress.
Unfortunately, on Tuesday, Tyson Fury revealed that things took an unexpected turn.
“Baby Athena is back [in] ICU please keep her in your prayers.”
We certainly hope baby Athena will recover as soon as possible and pull through.
