During the life of Ultimate Warrior, he reached the highest of highs and sadly, the lowest of lows. Some of the high points included Warrior winning the World Heavyweight Championship and defeating Hulk Hogan. While many looked up to the character of the Ultimate Warrior, it was often-times impossible to agree with the man behind the paint when it came to his views in politics and everyday living. Warrior spoke at a Conservative Alliance event years ago in which he spoke very absolutely about his views which many were anti-LGBTQ+. The views were not taken well as Warrior faced a “cancelation” by many.
On the most recent run of A&E’s documentary series based on wrestlers, Dana Warrior spoke up about the political controversy that surrounded Warrior while pertaining to the speech that Warrior gave at the Conservative Alliance event.
Dana stated that “Rush Limbaugh helped form his political views,” and alluded to the point that Warrior was Warrior and held strong beliefs. Dana is now facing backlash as many viewers are showing evidence that Warrior stated how Dana shaped his views and that Warrior was liberal beforehand. Check out the tweet below to read more.

Wrestling-Edge transcribed Dana Warrior’s comments on A&E, where she explained ripping the comments to Warrior after he made them, and criticized them. “When he came back from that speech, I knew something was wrong. I said, ‘what did you say?’”
“I was really disappointed, and I let him know that. He knew it was different, and he knew he’d messed up. He didn’t understand the breadth of it until later on, but he knew it was bad.”
