Update on Marty Scurll’s future in professional wrestling

Marty Scurll’s ROH contract is set to expire very soon. It will not be long until we get to know what will be Marty Scurll’s future in professional wrestling.

According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Marty Scurll’s ROH contract is set to expire on November 30th. He is expected to get some lucrative offers. It is also reported that ROH made “a strong offer” to him.

ROH is said to have been making a strong offer to try and keep him and there’s always WWE, because he’d be a lock to be a top star in NXT with his ready-made name to that audience.

ROH wants to keep Marty Scurll at any cost, but he would definitely be successful in WWE as well. It is also believed that he might go to AEW.

We will provide updates regarding his future in professional wrestling once we get to know more.

Off the top of my head, thinking of people from the last few years… Pete Dunne, Trent Seven, Tyler Bate, WALTER, every member of the Undisputed era, Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir, Io Shirai, Mia Yim, Keith Lee, Lio Rush, Matt Riddle, and Toni Storm.

Can you name someone? I can’t think of anyone since AJ and the Club came in. They change Lacey Lane, they changed Punishment Martinez, they changed Dijack. Unless you don’t consider them to be established, which would be fair.

While signing with WWE may still be viewed as a huge mistake in many peoples eyes, I think that with NXT going to TV it is maybe worth some people still signing as long as they can negotiate deals to go to NXT and get better money. I think the transition of Balor back to NXT is potentially the first stepping stone to seeing NXT guys of a certain experience level and fame level, actually getting better deals.

All that said, I cannot see him going anywhere other than to AEW.

WWE has been letting most established stars keep their names lately, though?

WWE will change his name to Marty Feelgood or something stupid

Because that sweet saudi blood money talks. Maybe he wants to be the Bird Man, Marvin Entropy for Vince.

Yeah, I don’t get all the speculation in this article. He’s part of the Elite. Why wouldn’t he join his buddies in AEW?

  • Keith Learmonth

Please…we all know he’ll show up in AEW if anywhere.
