The former NXT star Velveteen Dream was recently released from WWE. He made his last appearance on television back in December. He has been the figure of several controversies and now it has gone up another notch.

It was rumored, but never publicly confirmed, that Dream and Cathy Kelley were dating. She recently addressed fans in a public statement on Thursday night. She requested her fans to stop associating herself with “someone” she claims “never spoke to outside of work.”
She took to her Twitter account and urged her fans about the matter. She wrote the following:

Velveteen Dream has been involved in several controversies which got himself in trouble. Though investigations did not find anything against him, but he never earned back the respect of his fans.
The fans had also made #FireVelvteenDream trend on social media after his every appearance for the last year.
While Cathy Kelley left WWE in February 2020, but Stephanie McMahon had stated that if Kelley wants to return, the door is always open for her.
