FightfulSelect.com is reporting that the Vince McMahon WWE affair payoff claim is ‘the biggest threat to Vince McMahon’s power in WWE since the steroid trial nearly three decades ago.’
Fightful’s sources also expect “John Laurinaitis to be replaced before all is said and done.” One source speculated to Fightful that Johnny Ace will be the “latest fall guy for Vince, his turn in line was coming.”
The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has been on a hiatus and it has been noted he is moving on to the next phase of his career. It was previously noted that reports said he would not leave anytime soon. It has been also noted how ‘The Tribal Chief’ is no longer being advertised for WWE TV tapings and house shows for July and August. Reigns was also suggested to spend some time with his wife.It turns out he will work on one episode of Monday Night RAW this summer.
Roman Reigns will make his return on RAW
On today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoke about Reigns and how he, and by extension, his WWE Undisputed Championship, have hardly been seen since Reigns signed a new deal for fewer dates earlier this year. Meltzer then revealed when fans can expect to see Reigns on “Raw” next.
“The only time Reigns is going to be on Raw is the Raw from Madison Square Garden,” Meltzer said. “That’s his only Raw booking, the only time the champion will be on Raw pretty much the whole summer.”
WWE seemingly has some huge plans for Reigns ahead of the SummerSlam premium live event. RAW will take place from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York and will be on July 25. This will mark the go-home edition of RAW before WWE SummerSlam, which will take place on Saturday, July 30, from Nashville. Reigns is expected to appear at the red brand.
Reigns last wrestled for WWE at a house show on May 22 and has not wrestled on TV or a premium live event since he and the Usos defeated Riddle, Randy Orton, and Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania Backlash in early May. He is scheduled to defend the WWE Undisputed Championship against Riddle on “WWE Friday Night SmackDown” this Friday;
