He is also a former WWE Champion as he won the title on two different occasions. Drew McIntyre was unable to win the WWE Championship from Bobby Lashley on Night One of WrestleMania despite his best efforts. Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre surprise news were also leaked recently.
On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Drew McIntyre is likely to have his rematch against Bobby Lashley, and based on WrestleMania, he’ll keep jobbing out to The Almighty. The WWE Championship feud between Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley is expected to continue regardless of the ending of their match at WrestleMania 37.
“Bobby Lashley and Drew (McIntyre) are going to keep their program going; at least that was the thing this morning, which surprised me because you’re going to keep the program going? Why did you do that finish then? And, whatever, they are.”
With WWE’s next pay-per-view slated to be the newly-named “WrestleMania Backlash,” Dave Meltzer noted that it is likely Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre will have their rematch for the WWE Championship at the event next month. We will have to see how they book the feud and whether Drew McIntyre will win this time or not.
