The former WWE star and current IMPACT Wrestling star Chelsea Green recently took to her Instagram account and posted a picture from her wedding. Matt Cardona and Green got married at a special New Year’s Eve wedding in Las Vegas, Nevada. The two got married in front of several familiar faces from the world of pro wrestling at the wedding ceremony in Las Vegas. The picture posted by Green features her friends and several notable names of AEW and WWE can be witnessed. The picture includes the likes of NXT backstage interviewer McKenzie Mitchell and AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker, Taya Valkyrie.
Posting the picture, she went on to write the following in the caption:
“Tell me you have the most beautiful best friends without telling me you have the most beautiful best friends…”

Chelsea Green opens up on her WWE release
Green was shocked to hear the news of her release as she was preparing for her comeback when WWE fired her. Chelsea Green recently spoke to Busted Open Radio, to go on to detail about her WWE. The entire experience in the WWE brought out frustrations around her. Here’s what Chelsea Green had to offer about her release from the WWE,
“My arm had been fine, I had been cleared for about two months. I had been showing up to TV, ready to go, with my gear in my car. So when that call came, it was about three days after I had actually contacted office to say ‘hey, surprise! It’s me again. I have another idea. I’m coming to TV on Friday to pitch it to you guys.’”
She made several appearances in indies before signing a deal with IMPACT Wrestling.
