WWE has planned many changes for the product in order to boost dwindling ratings. The biggest change will take place next month once Smackdown Live moves to Fox and WWE has another draft.
According to reports, Vince McMahon was shown how the NFL drafts are like and he saw that WWE’s drafts are nothing compared to the NFL.
According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE will be attempting to bring a “legitimate sports draft” feel for the upcoming WWE draft. The draft will be taking place during SmackDown on October 11th and then end on the following RAW.
