Zelina Vega was one WWE’s top managers having been with the company from 2017 on the NXT brand with Andrade, where she led her client to a NXT Championship reign – up until the point she was released from the WWE’s talent roster in November of last year. The same day she tweeted her support for unionization in wrestling and it had been later reported that the reason Vega was released was due to her opposition on WWE’s rules in regards to third party platforms. In a follow-up, it is being reported that Zelina Vega might be back on her way to WWE as it was reported by Ringside News that Zelina Vega is now on WWE’s internal roster as a heel for their SmackDown brand. The outlet also states that Eva Marie’s name was on the company’s internal roster earlier this year, prior to her reemergence on WWE Monday Night Raw.
However, in another report, Fightful Select is stating that although Vega is currently on the internal roster, there are no plans for her creatively right now but the hope is to have in back in action by the Money in the Bank pay-per-view event that takes place later this month.
