Vince McMahon Caught ‘Rigging’ WWE Thunderdome

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon recently released Lana. The Ravishing Russian recently recalled the ThunderDome and seems she was not in favor of the idea, rather she would prefer the crowd to cheer for her. But, it will happen once she joins a promotion after the 90-day non-compete clause expires.

Lana comments on Vince McMahon’s idea, calls it ‘rigged’

She recently spoke to Talk Is Jericho and called the ThunderDome reactions “rigged,” but there is also certainly a bit of fixing things so the crowd reacts exactly as Vince McMahon desires. Jimmy Uso ‘Breaks Character’ With Roman Reigns?

It is noted that stars can hear the ThunderDome reaction now, but that wasn’t always the case. The chants in the ThunderDome are meant to seem natural, but everyone on each screen is directed to react according to their needs. Lana said WWE management, including Vince, ‘rig’ the Thunderdome.

Lana said:

“It’s all a little bit rigged for sure. This is where I miss having fans. If the chants have already been done before, they can clip it. So the ‘This is awesome’ chants, they can definitely do. I think Bianca and Rhea, at one of the matches, they auto in ‘This is awesome’ chant. I think that’s great, especially if you have the stuff. It sets the tone. So many people have gotten over because in one city, some chant started that you were trying to get over, it hooks, and then people on television see and they keep doing it. I know they’ve clipped in other ones. They definitely do the boos and the cheers.”

WWE had brought the idea of ThunderDome during the whole pandemic era. But it can be certainly understood that the live crowd is irreplaceable. WWE are set to hit the road this month and it will be great to have the live fans back in the attendance to cheer.
