One of the most highly discussed dream matches in WWE sees WWE Champion facing off against The Beast Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. This has been something Bobby Lashley has been wanting for quite a long time at this point, but it simply has not happened as of yet. Lashley also refuses to lose his WWE Championship for a long time.
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was asked about the likelihood of Brock Lesnar making his shocking return during Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre’s WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 37.
It was also stated that Lashley was promised a match against Brock Lesnar a few years ago when he made his return to WWE. However, that match has yet to actually take place.
“You know when Bobby Lashley came in he was told that he was going to get Brock and that was years ago, and it just never materialized. They just never got around to it. It’s not that they couldn’t do it, they just never got around to it.”
Bobby Lashley is hell-bent on facing Brock Lesnar in any type of match, be it inside a pro wrestling ring or as a legitimate fight inside the Octagon. We will have to see whether the two ever clash.
