WWE confirms return to Live TV via statement

Some reports revealed yesterday that WWE will be going back to Live TV soon and now the company has confirmed the same via a statement.

The company released a statement to ESPN where they confirmed that they are moving back to live schedule. Their statement released to the media outlet then expressed the importance of providing a diversion in the current times:

“We believe it is now more important than ever to provide people with a diversion from these hard times. We are producing content on a closed set with only essential personnel in attendance following appropriate guidelines while taking additional precautions to ensure the health and wellness of our performers and staff. As a brand that has been woven into the fabric of society, WWE and its Superstars bring families together and deliver a sense of hope, determination and perseverance.”

Reports have revealed that the company will be returning to live schedule as soon as this week and they will start producing live shows starting from this week’s episode of Raw.

The decision was made by Vince McMahon and it’s believed that the company fears breaching their TV contract if they produce any more taped shows.
