WWE Controversial Top Name Returning At Raw

WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis recently found himself in trouble after he was allegedly involved in Vince McMahon’s hush money settlement scandal. That led a lot of people to wonder what Johnny Ace would do in the company. Mr. McMahon was entailed in a controversial matter. The Wall Street Journal recently unveiled that WWE is investigating a secret $3 million settlement paid to a former employee of Mr. McMahon. The probe has also scooped several claims of misconduct from former employees toward The Chairman and top executive John Laurinaitis. It is not known which member leaked the story. There are twelve people on the board.

John Laurinaitis did not show up at SmackDown

Ringside News noted that John Laurinaitis was not there this week and neither was Bruce Prichard. Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn were both there and it was “business as usual, just like they wanted.” The only big change we were told about was that the atmosphere had much less stress. The belief was that Johnny Ace was going to lose his job after the Vince McMahon scandal. However, that’s unlikely to be the case.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about Laurinaitis not showing up on SmackDown this week. It was said that he was never supposed to be there in the first place.

John Lauranitis was never scheduled to be in Minneapolis tonight. So him not being there is not necessarily any kind of a story. I mean he wasn’t there, but and there were some internet rumors that he was there. He was not there and not scheduled to be there. I believe he’s scheduled to be there on Monday.

We will now have to see what the future holds for John Laurinaitis now that Stephanie McMahon has stepped in as the Interim WWE Chairwoman and CEO.
