WWE edits Seth Rollins segment for more positive crowd reaction

With WWE airing a taped edition of Monday Night Raw last night, the company took the opportunity to make Seth Rollins look a bit better with the crowd. The flagship brand took place in Manchester, England, last Friday and, reportedly, reactions to Rollins weren’t so positive.

According to WrestlingInc. the Architect received a hefty amount of boos from the Manchester crowd. However, when Raw aired on Monday night, the crowd noise was edited, and they’d included crowd shots from the October 28th show.

According to fans who were in attendance that night, the crowd didn’t cheer until Imperium showed up. Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT confirmed the reports through Twitter.

Bryan Alvarez of The Wrestling Observer also chimed in, noticing the heavily edited cuts to excited WWE fans. On the latest Wrestling Observer Live, he said:

“Apparently the Rollins segment was so heavily edited, they used crowd reactions from the October 28th Raw for the cutaways. Listen, when I was watching last night, Seth said something and they cut to a shot of the crowd cheering. Then when they cut back to him, everyone was all of a sudden sitting down again!

Very few edits were noticed throughout the show aside from this and the segment with Lana, Rusev, and Lashley. However, these were the two segments with the worst reactions from the fans in attendance.
