It looks like the longstanding rivalry between “The Monday Night Messiah” Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio will be coming to an end next week.
As seen during the Friday Night SmackDown broadcast, WWE released the official promotional trailer for the post-WWE Payback episode of Monday Night Raw featuring the confirmed singles match between Rollins and Mysterio.
The WWE Raw trailer for the Monday, August 31, 2020 episode, which you can view below, teases the possible end of the Rollins-Mysterio feud.
The program has seen “The Monday Night Messiah” defeat Rey in the “Eye for an Eye” match at The Horror Show At Extreme Rules pay-per-view on 7/19, followed by Rollins beating Dominik Mysterio in a Street Fight at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view on 8/23.
Rollins and Murphy are scheduled to compete against Rey and Dominik Mysterio in tag-team action at the WWE Payback pay-per-view this Sunday, August 30, 2020.
