WWE Fail To Sign Top Star After Crown Jewel

The YouTuber-turned-pro-boxer Jake Paul made his WWE debut at Crown Jewel Premium Live Event. He had previously teased he would make an appearance at the show. Roman Reigns successfully defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against the YouTube sensation Logan Paul in the headlining match. Logan certainly garnered some more fans after showcasing some great moves inside the ring. He took The Tribal Chief to his limits.

At one point, ‘The Maverick’ hit a Frog Splash from the top rope through the announcers’ table on Reigns. Among those involved in the match were Paul’s entourage, Jake Paul, The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) and Solo Sikoa. Sikoa nearly came to blows with Jake on the outside. Fans have been wondering whether Jake would be involved more with WWE.

WWE has no plans for Jake Paul

Pwinsider.com provided an update on Jake’s status with WWE by noting that “while there are no current concrete plans, there is a lot of interest on both sides to do something when the time is right.”

Meanwhile, ‘The Maverick’ tweeted that he suffered a torn meniscus, MCL, and potentially his ACL as well during the match. He is likely to be sidelined. However, Dave Meltzer noted during his latest Wrestling Observer Radio that they still don’t know if he has a torn ACL, because they haven’t had it looked at by a doctor yet. He also further stated, although Logan Paul will be out for a while given his other injuries, a torn ACL would certainly keep him out longer.
