WWE Legend Rips Lacey Evans For Being Ho

In a recent podcast interview on Sportskeeda.com’s WrestleBinge, Sgt. Slaughter addressed the controversy surrounding WWE star Lacey Evans and her new drill instructor ring attire. Sgt. Slaughter’s daughter had previously expressed her disappointment with Evans’ portrayal of a drill instructor.

Sgt. Slaughter shared his perspective on the matter, stating that he had initially dropped the issue and stopped watching Smackdown further. He mentioned that his daughter was upset about Evans’ choice of attire, specifically her campaign cover hat with a large cobra emblem and her revealing outfit that showed a lot of cleavage.

According to Sgt. Slaughter, he believes that Evans’ attire promotes a sexualized image rather than portraying her as a tough individual from the Marine Corps. In his opinion, if Evans wants to emulate the role of a drill instructor, she should wear a t-shirt, combat boots, and fatigues. He emphasized that she should not only look the part but also act like a drill instructor and embody their demeanor and attitude.

Sgt. Slaughter’s comments reflect his desire for authenticity and a portrayal that aligns with the values and image of the Marine Corps. While opinions may vary on the matter, his perspective highlights the importance of accurate representation and staying true to the intended character in professional wrestling.

I kinda just dropped it. I didn’t watch it [Smackdown] any further. My daughter kinda got a little upset that now she’s coming out with the campaign cover [hat] on and she’s got a big cobra on the front of it, and she’s got her outfit on and showing a lot of cleavage.

To me, that’s selling sex. That’s not selling that you’re a tough S.O.B. from the Marine Corps. She should have a t-shirt on and have the combat boots on and have those fatigues on. If you wanna emulate Sgt. Slaughter and you’re from the Marine Corps and you’re a drill instructor, act like one. Be one.”
