WWE did the unexpected and granted the release for four superstars from the main roster today. Luke Harper, Sin Cara, and The Ascension were all granted their release, which many thought was not going to happen.
According to a report by Fightful Select, there are thoughts going around the WWE Performance Center that some NXT superstars might be released soon. However, it is unlikely anyone would be released until the first quarter of next year.
A couple of members of the NXT roster have also told us that word is going around that if NXT cuts are coming, it could be in January or early February.
We will get to know in due time which superstars might be released from the company. The Performance Center is full, which is why some cuts are to be expected.
