Cain Velasquez has been keeping himself busy. He still has one more AAA date in LA that he has to do. After that, he is free to go wherever he desires.
We had reported earlier that Velasquez had been talking to both WWE and AEW. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that barring CMLL, he has been talking to every major professional wrestling promotion.
According to a report by Dave Meltzer on MMA Fighting, a big reason why WWE would want to sign Velasquez was for him to feud with Brock Lesnar.
The two certainly have history as Velasquez defeated Lesnar at UFC 21 in 2010 for the UFC Heavyweight Title.
