WWE reportedly planning huge main event for Survivor Series

It was reported previously that WWE was planning Finn Balor vs Brock Lesnar for the upcoming Survivor Series PPV though now it appears that the company has scrapped those plans and they now have a new idea for the main event of the show.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com, WWE is now planning a Champion vs Champion match between the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and the WWE Champion Jinder Mahal for the upcoming PPV.

While the idea for this match appears to have come out of nowhere, a Champion vs Champion match of such caliber would still be worthy to be part of the show as the main event.

According to Dave, this match will be a nontitle bout which means Jinder Mahal can hold on to the WWE Championship without defending it and be the champion when the time for the WWE Live Event in India comes around.

Now it’d be interesting to see how WWE triggers the feud between these two champions and if they have a physical encounter during the build-up for the match before the PPV.
