WWE Smackdown Star Teases Quitting

Shinsuke Nakamura had a good run in NXT where he won the NXT Championship twice and competed in some terrific matches. However, his time on the main roster has not been as good. Back in 2018, he was headed into a major WWE Title match against AJ Styles at Wrestlemania after he won the Royal Rumble. After that, his career has been a mixed bag full of ups and downs. Shinsuke Nakamura recently leaked Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar news.

Back in 2017, Shinsuke Nakamura faced off against John Cena in a match and during the contest, Nakamura performed an exploder suplex but botched it, resulting in John Cena landing on his neck. While John Cena did not get injured, it might have killed Nakamura’s push in WWE.

Shinsuke Nakamura took to Twitter and tweeted out a simple ‘See you, my friends’ before deleting it almost immediately. Thankfully, a Reddit user by the name of u/Hvitfulr was fast enough to take take a screenshot before it was deleted by Shinsuke Nakamura.
This led to a lot of speculation among fans who wondered just who the tweet was addressed to. Many fans believed it to be directed towards Johnny and Gargano Kyle O’Reilly, who will be leaving WWE shortly as their contracts will expire this month.
