WWE Star Personally Insults Vince After Quitting

In an intriguing interview on Logan Paul’s podcast, “Impulsive,” WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins delved into a variety of topics, including his journey towards making amends with fellow wrestler Matt Riddle over their past beef. Their feud, which WWE brought into the limelight last year, had its roots in a social media debacle involving Riddle’s then-wife, who criticized female wrestlers on the WWE main roster, using a picture of Rollins’ wife, Becky Lynch, as a reference and making inappropriate remarks about her appearance.

During a special Watch Along segment on Friday Night SmackDown, aired during night one of the Draft, Rollins revealed that he had no desire to wrestle against Riddle. However, Riddle offered his perspective on the situation, explaining that they were on good enough terms to collaborate together professionally.

Regarding the contentious situation, Rollins acknowledged that it was indeed a real-life issue, and it found its way into the narrative on live television, allowing them to craft a compelling storyline that went viral and left a lasting impact on the audience. He saw it as a win-win situation, leveraging their personal differences to enhance their professional performances.

Rollins further elaborated on their reconciliation, emphasizing his belief in forgiveness and second chances. He clarified that he is not one to hold grudges indefinitely, except for cases involving severe misconduct. Rollins acknowledged that everyone makes mistakes, and he remains open to forgiveness and moving forward. He praised Riddle for taking the initiative to apologize, which paved the way for them to mend fences and eventually work together amicably.

“What about him? Well, his wife did [leave him]. I don’t think there’s such a thing as too far. You remember it, and we’re talking about months later, so that’s what I’m talking about the moments, man. That’s it. We had a bit of real-life beef if you will. I had a bit of an issue with him. So you kind of got to see that play out on live television a little bit, so we worked it to our favor because now we have a moment that’s viral and something you remember that affected you, so, win win win I would say. Fine, totally good. I’m a professional. We can work together, things that happened outside of here, that is what it is. He apologized, and we mended fences, and I’m all about, like, I don’t write anybody off, I’m not one of those guys that’s like ‘no second chances, you do wrong by me, I hate you forever,’ like I’m not that stubborn, it’s not that serious unless you do some real nasty things. Everybody makes mistakes, and I’m big on forgiveness and second chances. I’ll forgive, not always forget and move forward. He was a big man, came forward and apologized, and we’re able to work together, and I’m happy for that.”
