Like it or not performance enhancing drugs have always loomed over the world of professional wrestling like a dark cloud. From the WWE steroid trial back in the 1990s, to former WWE champion Brock Lesnar being arrested due to steroid use in the early 2000s, and other countless examples. According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman revealed that he is getting ready for a bodybuilding competition, which certainly turned a few heads. The outlet would add that it would be hard for ‘The Monster Among Men’ to make his target weight of 330 without the use of steroids. This Brock Lesnar AEW ‘bombshell’ just recently leaked.
While there is little to no evidence to state that Strowman is on steroids, there is a number of alleged loopholes in the WWE Wellness Policy that would allow for Strowman to take performance enhancing drugs without penalty. As the Observer noted: “There are loopholes with WWE since you can pretty much take GH with impunity and there are people who are given TUE’s for testosterone”
Other outlets such as Ringside News have added that these particular drugs will be prescribed by doctors to patients as they age. Braun will obviously be training for this competition with every passing day so it will be very compelling to see what he uses to prepare, along with his body transformation along the way.
