WrestleMania 37 was the first pay-per-view in WWE in over a year that featured a live audience in attendance as it had more than 25,000 members of the WWE Universe, who appeared on Night One and Two of the pay-per-view. Now it seems the next major WWE event that will feature a live crowd will be WWE SummerSlam, which is one of the big four pay-per-views of the company. A WWE Attitude Era Star might be returning at WWE SummerSlam as well.
The company has yet to decide the venue of the upcoming biggest event of the summer. As more United States re-opens, some states are now allowing a live audience in attendance for concerts and that includes pro wrestling events as well.
According to a report by PW Insider, there have been discussions within WWE to hold Summerslam in either Phoenix, Arizona or a place in Texas. Either of the two locations would see several fans appear for WWE SummerSlam.
Of course, nothing is confirmed as of yet so plans could change at any moment. We will have to see how the landscape of WWE will be by the time SummerSlam rolls in. We will provide updates on the locations for SummerSlam.
