WWE might be countering AEW’s TV show on TNT

WWE finally has some competition in the form of AEW, which has all the momentum in the world right now.

A new war in professional wrestling has started, between WWE and AEW. WWE has already started the offence when they aired EVOLVE 131 on the WWE Network on the same night as Fight For The Fallen. This will likely not be the last time WWE does something of this nature either.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about the new professional wrestling war and discussed what Vince McMahon is capable of.

Meltzer thinks that knowing Vince, they will do a counter for AEW’s TV show just like they did a counter show on the 13th. He says it is a war, which Vince is always interested in and AEW will have to fight back as if it gets one-sided AEW will fall like every other promotion.

Meltzer added that AEW definitely has the money, but they will have to be clever to “bully” WWE back. They pulled a stunt with cease and desist, but they will need to do more to counter WWE.

It will be interesting to see how this war turns out. The world of professional wrestling itself might change.
