If you were to list the saddest moments in recent history for the WWE Universe some people would put Daniel Bryan’s retirement right up there with the saddest of them. The fact is Daniel Bryan still wants to wrestle. He regards it as therapy and nobody does therapy better than Daniel Bryan.
Daniel Bryan is still very much a part of the WWE Universe as General Manager of SmackDown Live and as a cast member on Total Divas and Total Bellas. But you know Daniel Bryan wants more than that. This is obvious by the fact even his wife feels it appropriate to talk about how her husband will wrestle again.
Brie Bella recently spoke to From The Top Rope where she said she didn’t know how it would go down, but her husband The Bearded GOAT would eventually find his way back to the ring.
“…I told Bryan, ‘You do have a daughter, so always remember that” Brie said. “But if the doctors finally give you the green light,’ I go, ‘Go! This is your dream and passion. You have one life to live and I will never hold you back.'”
“Because I love to wrestle, and I would hate if someone told me you can’t do it. And if WWE doesn’t allow it, then I said, ‘Go somewhere else. It’s all on you.’ Obviously, he would love to be able to get back in that WWE ring, but I know for a fact my husband is going to find his way back to the ring. He honestly is.”
If Daniel Bryan can’t come to an agreement with WWE he might have to wait out his contract in order to step back in the ring. But it would be hard to argue seeing Daniel Bryan appear in an ROH or New Japan ring wouldn’t be just as exciting.
