Chris Jericho continues to tease Impact partnership; poses with Impact Executives

The IWGP Intercontinental Champion continues to evolve and remain a top talent in the wrestling world. While he’s only wrestled a few matches in NJPW, Jericho’s run with the company has made some waves, especially since some consider NJPW to be the WWE’s competition.

Over the past year, it’s been rumored that Y2J was working on a deal with Impact Wrestling. Though nothing official has been confirmed, a recent Instagram picture has fans wondering what could be next for Jericho.

Jericho posted a picture on his Instagram account with co-executive vice presidents of Impact Wrestling Scott Damore & Don Callis and Anthem Entertainment president Ed Nordholm, along with his father Ted Irvine.

While him working with NJPW has made fans wonder if his relationship with the WWE and Vince McMahon has become strained, working with another US company would definitely add fuel to that fire. And that’s not even adding in the possible startup that he’s working on with The Elite, All Elite Wrestling.
