Emma reportedly released due to backstage heat

We noted before how WWE surprised everyone by releasing Emma, Darren Young, and Summer Rae from their contracts this past Sunday, just a few weeks prior to the Survivor Series event.

Out of these three, the release of Emma was presumably the most surprising as she was not only featured regularly on WWE programming in recent times but she also got a spot at the recent TLC PPV when she competed against Asuka.

Now it appears that WWE had more reasons to let Emma go other than the budget cuts which have been the motive behind some major decisions from the company in recent times.

According to a report from Sports Illustrated, the Raw Star had made enough ‘enemies’ on the writing team and the way she voiced her opinions on twitter only made things worse. Here is an excerpt from the report:

Emma created just enough enemies on the writing staff, which she exacerbated from the way she voiced her opinion on Twitter. The doors remain open for a return, but her exit from the company is viewed by some as addition by subtraction in the locker room.

The reports of Emma having backstage heat are interesting and they might just explain why she was chosen to lose to Asuka twice in the TLC week and then was released by the company shortly afterward.

We’ll keep you posted if any more details about her departure comes to light.

So she got fired for telling the creative team that they suck and i 100% agree lol. What did the creative team do for Alicia, Dana, Emma, Summer, Becky and Bayley (after they dropping the titles)? Nothing! Good for her. They should let wrestler come up with their own storylines because they are the ones working the crown and selling the product. Creatives should just pinch in ideas and shaping the whole thing as a finished script. I hope to see both Summer and Emma on impact. They will make WWE regret releasing them just like Taryn and Brooke.

Fact both Paige and Charlotte started their rise to fame on Raw, having said that the women’s division has been given more room to grow on the blue brand.

But neither brand gives there female brand the time it disserves like nXt does

Facts. All of the NXT call-ups who have been handled correctly, Alexa, Charlotte, Carmella, Paige, etc. are all on SmackDown. If SDL is supposedly the land of opportunity, then RAW must be the land of missed opportunities.

To be fair to WWE in this, most big companies will terminate employees if you go on social media and bad mouth them.
Yes, WWE are notoriously petty, but social media posts have resulted in god knows how many people either losing their jobs or not getting jobs they are applying for because companies now troll social media looking for stuff like this from employees and potential ones.

    WWE in a nutshell.

Right. If that’s the case, I wish they would’ve sent her to SmackDown. She’d probably would’ve done better over there.

Sounds like a bunch of grade school actions, rather than those of adults. if that’s the case, she’s better off on her own, and she can pick and choose her career path, rather than some childish writers who got their feelings hurt.
