AJ Styles is currently out of action due to an injury. However, the legitimacy of the injury is in question. Styles apparently informed fans that he was suffering from a back injury, but according to reports, it was part of the show.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that while it seems that AJ Styles is suffering from an injury, that is not the case at all. He will be away from WWE television for one month and this is all done according to the current storyline.
We were just told all of this is part of an ongoing story but Styles being out of action impacts part of that story. Styles is expected out of action for about one month
AJ Styles put on an excellent match with Seth Rollins at Money In The Bank, but that did not result in him being injured. He is simply enjoying some much-needed rest, which could be one of the benefits of his new contract.
