Former WWE United States champion Ricochet took to social media via Instagram story to add fuel to the fire that he might be on the move in the near future. What looks like an innocently-posted picture of him answering fan questions should actually add fuel to the fire as the current WWE star posted to his social media a comment left by a fan requesting that he jump ship to All Elite Wrestling. A big update on Ricochet’s future was recently revealed.
It should also be noted that that comment was made before another fan made a request for him to go back to NXT where he arguably saw the most success in his WWE career. Whether Ricochet actually goes anywhere outside of WWE is certainly up for debate, however, this latest post certainly should get fans of both promotions talking.
In other news regarding Ricochet, the former NXT North American champion was recently given serious praise by WWE Hall of Famer and former WWE Universal Champion – Goldberg. Prior to Goldberg’s ill-fated WWE Championship match at the 2021 Royal Rumble against Drew McIntyre, the professional wrestling icon discussed how he believes Ricochet will be a massive star one day, among with other names. There were also recent backstage updates regarding the WWE contract status of Ricochet.
“I mean the usual suspects,” Goldberg said. “Drew McIntyre, Keith Lee and Ricochet. I’ve always been a HUGE fan of Finn Bálor. I’d have to say those four are the future. There’s no question about it. In my opinion. And what do I know?”
