WWE Superstar Roman Reigns is certainly one of the top Superstars in the company right now and has been on a solid run as the WWE Universal Champion, but he is losing his top spot to two WWE Smackdown women. Roman Reigns successfully defended his WWE Universal Championship against WWE Hall Of Famer Edge and Daniel Bryan in a triple threat match in the main event of Night Two of WrestleMania 37. Paul Heyman has been instrumental in all of Roman Reigns’ success. Paul Heyman’s very sad text message to a Monday Night RAW Superstar also leaked recently.
On a previous episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Daniel Bryan faced off against Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship in the main event of the show. Despite competing to the best of his ability, Daniel Bryan was unable to win the match and was banned from Friday Night Smackdown as a result of his loss. His contract also expired earlier in e month and many fans have been wondering where he will go next. Bryan knew WWE that he would be leaving before WrestleMania 37 as well.
Paul Heyman recently spoke on Talking Smack with WWE interviewer Kayla Braxton, where he mentioned Bray Wyatt, Daniel Bryan, and Edge.
“The Fiend acknowledged Roman Reigns… off of SmackDown. Braun Strowman acknowledged Roman Reigns… off of WWE. Daniel Bryan banished from SmackDown at the hands of Roman Reigns. Edge is at home playing Mr. Mom because at WrestleMania he took a con-chair-to and the most declaratively dominant pinfall in the history of WrestleMania, and you haven’t seen Edge since.”
