Vince McMahon ‘Wiping Out’ NXT For Sad Reason

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon took a huge call regarding the release of a dozen stars and a referee. Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that the release of Bronson Reed who was recently the NXT North American Champion was the most shocking one.

Vince McMahon was harsh on the NXT talents

It has been noted that the released stars have 30 day non-compete clause. It is being reported that Reed was being groomed for the main roster. Internal talks stated that when Reed got his tryout matches in recent weeks, McMahon decided that he will not be pushed for main roster. Shawn Michaels WWE Firings Rumor Leaks

It was then planned that if he’s not going to be on the main roster then there was no point of keeping him in the company. It was the same mentality regarding other cuts, including Bobby Fish, Mercedes Martinez and Tyler Rust, who were involved in current storylines. Also the release of Jake Atlas and Ari Sterling, who were new to the company had a similar approach from McMahon but came in highly regarded.

It turns out that the decisions on all were made based on the idea that the decision-makers did not see them as main roster talents and thus they were let go by the company.
