Jeff Jarrett had an in ring promo with The Usos and The Street Profits on WWE SummerSlam, and said it was a ‘good idea for the four of us’ to get in the ring before SummerSlam, where he’ll guest referee. There were five people in the ring, slapnuts.
Jarrett will team with Jay Lethal against Ric Flair and Andrade on Sunday for Flair’s final match.

There have been reports surrounding Max Dupri’s WWE status. Vince McMahon might have nixed the gimmick of the SmackDown star. The former WWE NXT 2.0 star Sofia Cromwell, now known as Maxxine Dupri recently made her main roster debut on the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown. This took place inside the TD Garden in Boston, MA. Vince McMahon had announced his retirement ahead of the show. With Maxxine Dupri making her way to the blue brand, it seems, it is the end of Max Dupri. He previously went by the name of LA Knight in NXT and debuted as part of the Maximum Male Models agency, with ma.çé and mån.sôör being the first two acquisitions of the agency.
Vince McMahon cancelled the plans for Max Dupri due to a bad segment
According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Vince McMahon pulled Dupri from WWE television after blaming him for a bad Maximum Male Model segment:
Max Dupri is out but the angle with Maximum Male Models is continuing using Sydney Zmrzel, who was Sofia Crawford in NXT, as Maxxine Dupri. Max being gone was a Vince call made after one of the early segments of the deal when Vince blamed the segment being bad on his delivery of the lines and apparently he also spoke up about some of the scripting. With Vince out, he may resurface if he has supporters with whoever ends up in charge but the idea was that he’s out of this angle. The segment was bad even though he actually has a great delivery.
The newest character serving as a mouthpiece for Maximum Male Models is Maxxine Dupri, the storyline sister of Max Dupri(formerly LA Knight in NXT). There was a lot of speculation on which NXT star would don the Maxxine Dupri character. The real answer was revealed on Friday night. In a backstage segment, Cromwell was revealed as Maxxine Dupri.
