AEW changed plans for Chris Jericho due to COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has taken over the world and has had major effects on professional wrestling as well. AEW apparently had to postpone a feud they intended on returning to due to the disease, which includes plans for Chris Jericho.

Jericho took to Twitter and replied to a fan who asked about his feud with Jungle Boy. The fan said the company did not do enough with Jungle Boy, who had a brief feud with Jericho. Jericho then revealed that the company did plan on revisiting the feud.

Had the world not gone crazy, we would be revisiting that now.

So it seems the COVID-19 disease prevented that feud from taking place. The company had to change a lot of things due to the outbreak, including shows taking place in front of an empty arena. We will have to see when AEW decides to revisit the feud between him and Jungle Boy.
