AEW has been making announcements regarding their TV tapings and confirming matches and segments for the first few episodes of their TV show recently.
In the spree, the company recently announced a big match and confirmed that the finals of the announced tag team title tournament will be taking place during the October 30th episode of their show.
Not only this but the company also announced that Chris Jericho will be in action for the same episode, though his opponent for the show has not been revealed yet.
It’s worth mentioning here that this won’t be the only episode Jericho will be in action for and he is scheduled to face the team of Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks with two mystery partners at the inaugural episode of AEW on TNT.
The company has also confirmed the first title defense of AEW’s World Championship for the third episode of their show and it looks likely that Jericho will win the belt and defend it on the episode as well.
