At this year’s NJPW: Wrestle Kingdom 14, Jon Moxley and Lance Archer faced each other in a brutal Texas Deathmatch with the former winning back the IWGP United States Championship from ‘The Muderhawk Monster’ in a gruesome manner.
As it turned out, that was Archer’s last match under New Japan Pro Wrestling, as he went on to sign with All Elite Wrestling and will be making his highly-awaited in-ring debut for the promotion this Wednesday on Dynamite.
Coincidentally, the reigning AEW World Champion also happens to be Jon Moxley and given that Archer has unfinished business with ‘The Death Rider’, we could possibly witness the two men square-off at some point down the road in AEW.
Nevertheless, in a recent Twitter Q&A, Archer was asked how sharing the ring with Jon Moxley felt like, to which he had a typical response, stating that Moxley was lucky enough to share the ring with the former Suzuki-Gun member.

As aforementioned, Lance Archer will be making his in-ring debut for AEW this week and it remains to be seen who his first opponent in the promotion is going to be, as he prepares himself for a feud against Cody Rhodes.
