Alexa Bliss Removed From WWE Return

The former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss recently made her return to on-screen programming. However, she is yet to make an in-ring comeback. Bliss hasn’t wrestled since Extreme Rules in September last year and reports state that she was set to compete inside the ring last weekend.

Alexa Bliss could have participated in Women’s Royal Rumble

Bliss was once again featured on WWE Monday Night RAW this week. She is undergoing therapy sessions to wash off the memories of The Fiend and Lily, the twisted doll. This caused her to lose a spot in the big St. Louis premium live event.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer had a little comment about Alexa Bliss’ current direction in WWE.  The thought of Bliss’ current program caused them to nix her spot in the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble match.

She was supposed to be in the Rumble too, but I guess they decided it would get in the way of what they are doing.

It is not known whether WWE decided to nix the plans of Bliss’ return from the show, but it seems WWE Chairman Vince McMahon made a lot of changes to both the men’s and women’s Rumble matches. Speaking about the Royal Rumble matches, the Men’s match was won by Brock Lesnar, who entered the match at No.30 spot and won by last eliminating Drew McIntyre. Earlier in the night, he had dropped the WWE title against Bobby Lashley in what many considered to be a ‘dream match.’ It took place after WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns ambushed ‘The Beast Incarnate’ during the match. While the Women’s match was won by a returning Ronda Rousey. Rousey will be facing a WWE Women’s championship of her choice at WWE WrestleMania 38 which will be held in Dallas, Texas at AT&T Stadium
