Rhea Ripley Vs. Asuka is set to be one of the most memorable WrestleMania matches in quite some time. Recently, on the newest episode of ‘The Nitty Gritty Dirt Show,’ Billi Bhatti sat down with former WWE writer Vince Russo. The two talked about a vast landscape of all things pro-wrestling. Here, Bhatti stated what that the existing agenda is for the WWE Women’s Championship Match is at WrestleMania 37. Wrestling-Edge transcribed Bhatti’s comments. This WWE icon recently reacted to Rhea Ripley’s social media post.
Bhatti: Rhea Ripley – remember when I put the chalkboard up and said that Rhea Ripley was going to be in this triple threat with Charlotte Flair and Asuka? Well obviously Charlotte can’t make the match.
That’s not down to anything that I reported, I can’t predict who is going to get COVID or whatever but Charlotte is out of that match now. I don’t expect her to be added to the match her the day of or anything like that, Jeff Lane speculated that last week but the current plan is for Rhea Ripley to win that match and to win it as a heel. They think they need a big heel after a whole year of Asuka as WWE Raw Women’s Champion. So they are going to go in another direction.
