While Luke Harper hasn’t been seen on WWE TV for a while, latest report reveals that the company was planning to bring him back before he decided to ask for his release.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE was planning a feud between Harper and the recently returned Sami Zayn for near future.
While there is no word yet on if these plans have been completely halted because of Harper’s action, they certainly look to have been delayed because of his request for a release.
Though as we noted before, WWE is not in the mood of giving Harper his release and the Officials have instead added 6 more months to his contract for the time he missed due to a wrist injury.
This means that Luke Harper, whose contract originally expired in November, will be forced to stay around for longer and he will only be able to leave the company around the time for WrestleMania next year.
