Batista Spoils WWE Return Before SmackDown?

Batista is a veteran WWE star who is currently focussing on his acting career. He recently talked about ending his career. The former world champion wrapped up his in-ring career at WrestleMania 35 when he lost to Triple H in a match that received more appreciation over time. It was a classic against his longtime faction member and rival, and the only opponent that The Animal wanted to face to end his career in professional wrestling.

He recently concluded his role as Drax in Guardians of The Galaxy. It was the same role that gave him his breakout in Hollywood. The multi-time world champion was originally supposed to be the headlining inductee of the Hall of Fame Class of 2020. However, WWE canceled the 2020 Hall of Fame due to the pandemic, and prior commitments were the reason why they couldn’t induct him in 2021. It seems that he will be inducted into the WWE Hal of Fame Class of 2023.

Batista opens up on the matter

While speaking to Liam Crowley of Comic Book, Batista talked about getting inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame this year. Batista made it clear that he hopes that will be the case this year:

“I hope so, but I can’t say for sure. I can say that I’m trying. I am trying.”

We will have to wait and see if the Hall of Fame induction takes place this year.
