Bayley reveals her possible next feud in WWE after Sasha Banks

For a better part of this year, WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley has been best friends and tag team mates with Sasha Banks. But that changed a few weeks ago after SummerSlam, when Bayley turned on Sasha Banks and injured her with a steel chair.

The Bayley-Sasha Banks storyline has been one of the biggest highlights of the Blue brand throughout its pandemic-era episodes. Their feud is heading towards a Hell in a Cell match on October 25 at The ThunderDome in Amway Center.

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Bayley opened up on what’s next for her in WWE, as she approaches the one-year mark of her SmackDown Women’s title reign.

Bayley on her future in WWE

Now that she has had a near-perfect run in 2020, Bayley was asked what comes next for her. She commented that she still had a lot left to achieve and her Championship reign was nowhere near over.

As for future rivalries, she named Bianca Belair, who has been drafted to SmackDown in Round 2 on Night One of this year’s WWE Draft.

“Now starts the hard work. Now is the time to prove everyone wrong. People think this honeymoon stage is going to end. They’re thinking, ‘Bayley has a good run.’ But this isn’t the end, it’s the beginning. I still have a lot left to do, a lot to accomplish, and a lot of girls to beat up. Bianca Belair is on top of that list. There’s plenty of time for me to make more history.”

Bayley and Belair have already started to exchange heated tweets over the last few days. The former commented “You’re disgusting” under a post by Belair of her track-and-field career. The latter responded, “Girl at this point just fight me.”

It is possible that the Champion might take it up with Belair once her feud with Sasha Banks is over.
