In a WWE Network Exclusive which was shared on social media via the official Twitter for the WWE Network, former WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E was asked prior to this week’s edition of WWE Smackdown about the historic Hell in a Cell Universal Championship match between ‘The Head of the Table’ Roman Reigns and Rey Mysterio. Big E: Have you prayed for Rey? Have you prayed for Rey on this day? Did you? I did. I dropped down on my knees and prayed for him. He’s a legend and he’s got a lot to offer in the ring but I think we should all say a prayer for Rey and for his health. We should make sure that our local medical facility has room for him – just in case. We should all pray.
Roman Reigns ultimately retained in dominate fashion during the aforementioned Hell in a Cell match. After delivering a powerbomb to Mysterio from the ring to the side of the Hell in a Cell, Reigns would choke the high-flying luchador out via an inverted guillotine to win the match via submission. After the match Jimmy Uso came out to celebrate with Roman Reigns and his special counsel – Paul Heyman.
