Bray Wyatt apparently wants to wrestle Jerry Lawler

‘The Fiend’ has faced a number of interesting opponents like Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins till now but it appears that he has a very unusual name in his list of dream opponents.

In the most recent episode of his podcast, Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler revealed that the current Universal Champion had shown interest in competing in a match with him last year:

“You know, after we did the little thing a while back on Monday Night Raw (August 2019), before I was back doing commentary. I just came on for a guest appearance. Bray Wyatt came to me afterwards and he said ‘King I would love to work with you down in Memphis.’”

The former Champion continued by saying that Bray Wyatt belongs to the kind of people he loves to work with and King also showed interest in a potential showdown.

“That’s the kind of people that I love to work with, and have matches with. I would love to have a match with Bray Wyatt or The Fiend either way.”

Though while both the contestants seem to be interested in facing each other, it’s not a very likely possibility because Lawler is not cleared to compete in WWE after his heart attack in 2012.
