It was reported recently that Brock Lesnar is not expected to wrestle until the SummerSlam PPV and he is then slated to main event the show.
However, there was no word on whether the Beast will be staying with WWE after that or he will be dropping the Universal Championship, though now it appears that we have a confirmation of the later.
According to reports from Sports Illustrated, Lesnar is expected to drop the World title soon and he can be dethroned before or at the Biggest Event of the Summer.
With less than 2 weeks remaining for the show, It’s pretty clear now that Brock will not be defending the Universal title at the upcoming Money In The Bank PPV.
So he could either drop the title at Extreme Rules or the SummerSlam PPV itself, but seeing how the company has built the Beast during his title reign, the later looks to be a better payoff option.
