Brodie Lee, who was known as Luke Harper in WWE was rarely utilized properly during his time in the company. Now Brodie Lee is the Exalted One in AEW and is set to challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Title at AEW Double Or Nothing.
Lee spoke to Busted Open Radio, where he mentioned how there is more pressure for him now. He is now focused on making his own opportunities after knowing how capable he is.
Lee said that the main reason he left WWE was because he knew that regardless of how hard he worked or how much he proved himself, they would not give him serious opportunities because he wasn’t “one of the chosen ones.” Now, he is creating the opportunities himself because he knows he is a great wrestler and deserves the spot. He says the pressure is now on him to prove himself as there is nobody else to blame.
We will have to see how he fares against Jon Moxley at Double Or Nothing.
