H&M @brianvalentine @petermazilu:
Charlotte Flair might return soon
Charlotte Flair has been away from WWE programming since she lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash in May this year. After that match in Providence, R,I., WWE wrote Flair off television by claiming she had suffered a fractured radius. In reality, Flair was scheduled to take time away from WWE to marry AEW star, Andrade El Idolo in Mexico. The pair tied the knot at the end of May after becoming engaged in January 2020.
‘The Queen’ is likely to make her return soon. As per the latest reports in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the former RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion might be back ‘soon.’ We will have to see what WWE has in store for the fans.
Meanwhile, her father and legendary pro wrestler Ric Flair has lavished praise on her daughter. While speaking on his To Be The Man podcast Ric Flair claimed that even a 100-year-old Charlotte Flair can still wrestle better than 95% of the WWE women’s division.
“She could wrestle until she was 100 years old and still be way better than 95% of the girls there. Like, I watch the show. I’m not being critical of anybody; I’m just saying that is simply just how good she is. Same with Sasha. You’ve got two who just stand out.”
