AEW has recently teased a feud between Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho and while these two have faced each other during their time in WWE before, Y2J is claiming that their upcoming rivalry will be much different.
Jericho recently had an interview with Sports Illustrated where he talked about a number of things including his imminent feud with the former WWE Champion.
The AEW World Champion first explained that their feud won’t be the same because Mox is a completely different guy in AEW and he then went on to respond to the criticism that their rivalry is happening ‘too quickly’:
“Moxley is the real guy. And there is a new-look Chris Jericho with all this creative freedom in AEW, so it’s going to be very intense and it’s going to be a lot of fun. I know a lot of people have already said, ‘This is happening too quickly.’ Everybody needs to sit back, relax, and watch the story unfold. Trust me, we are not rushing anything. I wouldn’t allow it.””
