Chris Jericho and his “Inner Circle” opened up this week’s episode of AEW: Dynamite. Jericho went on to introduce his fellow heel friends one by one to the audience and when he came to Hager, the audience started acting up.
The audience in attendance started chanting “We The People” at Hager before Jericho introduced him. This was a popular catchphrase that Hager used back in his WWE days as the patriotic “Jack Swagger”.
However, Jericho was quick to respond to these chants with a rebuttal of his own. The AEW World Champion said that the chant “sucks” and that it was “a stupid idea from a bad creative”.
